Wanted: Complete 6 bolt with goodies
 

Hey just curious if anyone has one laying around.. A buddy and I are finally going to buld his 91 awd, but we need and engine.. Were most likely going to rebuild his 6 bolt ourselves, but i was just wondering if anyone has a Complete 6-bolt laying around for backup.. looking to spend around 1600, if thats possible..

I have a running one I took out of my car (and replaced with yours, heh :) ) It has low compression but runs fine as is. I want to keep it as a back up for a little while but will be looking to get rid of it soon. Want about half your budget.

Thanks, but if we decide to go that route, i want something more newer, good over-all engine.. i know 1600 isnt alot, but like i said im open to offers ;) maybe something could be worked out

I have never seen a used 6bolt in good condition go for over 1000(except the "JDM" ones on ebay that are overpriced IMO). Just an FYI.

I have a 6 bolt here that has around 2,000 on the block and 0 miles on the head. The timing components can be reused since they have low miles also which would save $200. It has a copper sprayed soch HG on it and has arps. PM me if interested. I would want $800 for it. The head cost $500 for the rebuild alone.
