What is 1/18/08...project Cloverfield
 

If most of you watched the transformer movie you saw in the preview of a group of people at a party filmed with a handheld HD camera. Then all of a sudden a "thunderous roar" came out of no where, lights go dim, everyone runs to the roof top to see what's going on, than a huge explosion and all of a sudden everyone runs outside screaming. Oh yeah and the statue of liberties head goes flying into the streets.

On you tube there's a lot of specualtion that this movie is about godzilla, power rangers, Cthulu, or Voltron.

I myself haven't spent much time on this but I figured if you've got nothing to do and want to have a lil fun. Check it out.

Im actually really curious about this movie, and wanna know wtf it's about. It seems like all the intronet geeks are leaning twards a godzilla remake, but paramount is stating that it's a completley new monster

Sony has the rights to Godzilla, not Paramount.
I'm thinking it's a movie based off of the game Rampage by Atari.
