The Evo's got pwnt at the X-Games :(
 

I didn't watch them, but I heard out of the 7-8 cars the 2 Evo's didn't make it far. The first one barely made it above 4000RPM's and the other one messed up and broke the rear suspension :(

Did anyone watch this? Colin McRae messed flipped his car too.

I watched it yes.
The evo's didn't have good drivers. The one driver did that 85 ft jump over the other car, but was a bit short, and when he landed on the other side, he didn't clear the rear end over the lip of the landsing hill, causing his rear end to snap on impact. When patrana, block, and mcrae are driving the sti's, i'd expect the sti to win-not to mention that it just seems like the sti is a better rally car.

The STi is a pretty pimp rally car, they seem to hold up to a shit ton too. The thing about Rally though, as you mentioned, is it all comes down to the driver. You have a good driver you're going to win. Like when McCrae left Subaru, there was a lot of ruckus about that, at least they got Burns though.

Didn't SBR build an EVO for the X games? To me, that would explain a lot. ;) Hummer was bragging about that a while back.

Any car that can be fliped and turn back on all 4 and still finsh the race in 2nd is a bad ass rally car. Well a bad ass driver too. Last year was nuts.

Yea I was lucky enough to flip on and watch a little of the ax games. All i've got to say is those guys are badass. I was pretty ticked that I missed the evos though.

You did not miss much on the Evo's. The Second Evo the one that could not go over 4k. Rolled it way before the race. And they had to bang it all out and rebuild the body. The first Evo that broke the rear end. Made it out of the stadium. But shut it down because of the rear end. It was kinda sad. Even the Tiburon did not win it. I think Subaru had a big part in this years Xgames. Because all I seen was there commercials. I'll search Youtube for clips of this years race. And yes Mcrea flipped his Sti this year. His co-driver asked what happened. It was funny.
