Your Favorite Twin Cities Restaurants
I'm curious to see what some of the top restaurants are in the twin cities by votes from our membes.
Name your top 3 and if you want add lip a llittle comment on them. I'll put a list together and rank them based on where they fell in individual ranks. Lets only include restaurants where you sit down and get to enjoy apps, drinks, main course, deserts, ect ect. |
Re: Your Favorite Twin Cities Restaurants
Way too many good places out there but my top list so far...
Ruby Tuesdays- Used to go there all the time so its just a casual favorite... Mannys- Best steak ever. PF Changs- My fav ameri-chinese place.. Then theres other good places: sunsets, rock bottom, atlas grille, mcormik and shmicks, melting pot. I really want to try Fogo de chai, supposed to be amazing. |
Re: Your Favorite Twin Cities Restaurants
1) Melting Pot ~ Expensive, but great dessert and a great place for a social gathering
2) Benihana ~ Expensive, but entertaining and great shrimp sauce! 3) Olive Garden ~ Lower cost and unlimited salad and breadsticks! |
Re: Your Favorite Twin Cities Restaurants
1 - Benihana. Great food, little on the spendy side when you go all out with drinks and such. Shrip Sauce FTW!
2 - Chevys. I think Bloomington is the only one still open. Tomilito is awesome, big fan of their Fajitas! 2 - Guadalahara. Located in Rogers on the south side of 94. Great mexican, low price, tasty drinks. Again, big fan of their Fajiatas! |
Re: Your Favorite Twin Cities Restaurants
I have not been to a whole lot of restaurants up there but The Newsroom on Nicolette (sp?) is definitely a favorite.

Re: Your Favorite Twin Cities Restaurants
Pancho Villa - Little family owned restaraunt on eat street in South Minneapolis. Quite simply, the best mexican food I've had in the cities. Just look at the clientelle and you can see that this is some good authentic mexican food. Plus two for one margaritas!!
Town Hall - 7 corners (near the dome) in Minneapolis. They have pretty good food, and great beer. But the best thing about this place is the atmoshere. Nothing beats sitting out on thier patio on a nice afternoon and enjoying some great beer with a few friends. The French Meadow - Somewhere on Lyndale in South Minneapolis. This is a great place to get some fresh food that's a little different. It's a little on the lighter side (soups, sandwiches, etc.) but they also have some excelent breakfast choices too. It's a great place to go the morning after a good night of drinking. :) |
