Re: inercooler Q
You'll be able to get it to fit, you'll just need some custome piping made. Btw srt fmics are pretty small imo.

Re: inercooler Q
Aren't SRT-4 FMIC's larger than EVO's? I know the EVO FMIC is great on a DSM if you're running the stock or slightly larger turbo.

Re: inercooler Q
The SRT-4 FMIC is a bit small. It looks decent sized in the grill of an SRT-4, until you remove it. The stock Evo FMIC is quite big.

Re: inercooler Q
Yea the srt's look big but once you take em off they are really long and skinny. But, to answer the question, yes any fmic is just about possible. You'll just need some custom pipes made. It's probably more worth it to just get a cheap ebay core or something. Ebay fmics are pretty good for the money. That's what I'm running with my 50 trim and I've had no problems.

Re: inercooler Q
They kinda work. On a lot of cars it won't be that noticable. I would run them on some cars, especially if the car is running alcohol like E85 where the fuel also cools the intake temps a lot. I have datalogged a few AEM cars with them and intake air temp sensors in the upper intercooler pipe. The intake air temp change from the start of a dyno pull to the end is much higher than you would see on a car with a good intercooler. So you lose a little power and have to run less boost/ignition timing.

Re: inercooler Q
I don't know anything about the Dejon FMIC, but if it's anything like all the other stuff he makes, I would assume it's absolute shit. I would put most Chinese eBay shit a step above Dejon parts.
P.S. I don't like his Mustard either. |
