so ya
anyway up at the shop I work at the guy who owns the place (Dave) took off early and did not say anything to me,my dad or Darrin. I was leaving at 4 pm and was still there wateing to get paid for the week at 730pm. called him a few times and left messages and whent to his home down the street all his cars were there so was he but did not come to the door. So for the 2nd time this month I did not get paided and all the fucking shit right before the wedding on sunday next week. We all went up there last night to get all my painting equipment,tool box. Also have my bros feiro up there (got it it was in the lot) and my talon all apart on the lift. I also have 3 engines up there and a ton of other parts. So we get up there and the locks were all changed the bath room window was plexied over. Now all my stuff and my car are there and I can not get them out. I filed a police report on all that is going on and was told I am in the right and he is libal for all my stuff if any thing is gone it is on him sence non of are keys work anymore.
This all started because he is selling the shop and want the books to look good so he has not paided us. He keeps saying he does not have it but I know what we bring in every day and that is not the problem and he has money for him self to buy a new pool this week. I am just happy I got kevins talon done before I left yesterday other wise that will be stuck there still too.
When monday come I will be there with the cop's to get my cash and my stuff.

and to top it off on the way home craig and I were destroying a super charged 93-93 style firebird when craig blew up his oil filter and the pte 61 dumped all the oil on hwy 10 and on to the evo. But his engine is ok

so other than going to alex this morring to get the spyder that took the last of my cash it will be my only money coming in till I get somthing new. At least aly got a new job that makes more than here old job.

Ah...two days before my wedding day. What will be scary is if my new son was born on the 17th also. Ok now I said that. I have to explain. July 17th '04 Married... Aug. 17th '05 Warren was born. And if my new son was born on Dec. 17th '07 I think I have a problem. hahaha Enough of my rant so good day.

It sounds like there are some legality issues here. If the place went Chapter 11, all the assets would be frozen and I could understand all this but if this guy is just selling his place and you are a legitimate employee, then I don't think they can just not pay you. I would almost be sure that you have a case here.

Well atleast you had a clue he was selling the place, and he didn't just up and leave in an r.v. letting everyone and their brother have to salvage their own parts out of an unorganized shop.... I think thats happened before not sure
