WTBorrow/WTRent 2.4L torque plate
 

A friend of mine works for a machine shop and will be boring/honing his 2.4L .020 over once his Magnus/Ross pistons show up. Unfortunately they don't normally do these engines. We need to borrow or rent a 2.4L torque plate. I will stand behind and vouch for him that nothing will happen to the plate. I will pay insured shipping both ways.

Anybody?

Correct me if I am wrong but if I remember correctly a 2.0 4g63 torque plate will work for the 4g64.

I have a BHJ Torque plate to bore a 4g63 .090 over if that helps him at all... I will need it for about 2 weeks then it will be available. Let me know.

a .020 over 4g64 will be 87mm. I'm too lazy to do the simple math to convert a .090 over stock bore 2L into an equivalent measurement. Somebody get on that!

I thought 4g64's were 86mm so .020 over would be 86.5mm.

87mm on a 2.0 - 4g63 is .080 over.

Maybe I'm wrong.

stock bore 2.4s are 86.5mm. The .020 over wiseco box i have says 87mm.
