2g o2 housing in a 1g dsm
 

I notice that the 1g o2 housing sensor is mounted in a different area then the 2g which is mounted lower. Does this mean that I have to splice and solder the electrical wire to get it to plug into the 2g housing that's going to go into my 1990 talon tsi?
