installing a 1g 4g63 in a 2g?
 

ok i am new to the 4g63 so bear with me here! is a first 1g 4g63 a direct swap into a 2g car?

if not what is needed to be done?

i think youll need a cas harness!!! i got one i will throw in with car....

This has been talked about almost as much as Allan's scorchers on the net. Search around. Magnus and others have posted plenty about the needed parts and tricks. RRE has a very nice plug and play harness to hook up the 1g CAS.

ok i read the link and do i need a 2g tranny for the swap? if so i have a 1g manny-tranny if eny one wants to swap for a 2g manual.

also is all the ECU re-wiring needed or is that only if i throw codes?

i am VERY new to 4g63's, i own a GS so i am in need of lots of help

Do a search and it will get you very far. Alot of people have very informational posts on this process.
