Tapeworms are in your intestines, that is obviously fake or he has a hole in his intestine, in which case he is probably dead by now.

Looks like a brown recluse spider bite. I just can't figure out what it is they are pulling out, looks like a thread of gauze but why would that be in a spider bite?

Yeah that was for sure not a tapeworm...And i hope they went to a doc after other wise i am sure he is very ill now, if not dead. There was obviously an infection that could surpass the outer layers of skin and spread into his organs. He needs to get it scrubbed out with a sterol wire brush and then pack it with gauze 2-3 times a day and clean it until the infection clears up....I could go on but that is just the nurse in me...

That looked nothing like a tape worm. It was too soft and flimsy. Tape worms are a digestive parasite anyway. Whatever they pulled out was located in his skin, not his intestines.
