Date/Time stamp on posts?

I have been looking around on every other forum/site I'm on and I've never seen it setup like this. Such as if someone posts, it's marked as "2 minute ago" or "7hrs ago" or "4 weeks ago". I've always seen it display the actual date and time (6-14-07 at 3:30am).

I'm not posting this to try to get people to say change it, I was just wondering why it's different or if its different, just to be different and to see who likes it / doesnt like it / doesnt care.

Thoughts / Comments / Vulgarities ??

I'd rather have a specific date/time rather than trying to figure out what time exactly 6 hours ago was.

Exactly what I was thinking! Trying to figure out when 6hrs ago was is VERY hard when you are intoxicated! :D

But figuring out that on june 12th at 6 am someone posted something is harder to figure out then 2 days ago. 90% of the time im not sure what the date is.

I do agree with you, Blageo. But also I can barly read the date time thing anyways. And I am using the speedfire skin. I have to highlight that area just to read it. And don't tell me that oh fix your screen. Hell I am on a 17" wide screen with the brightness to 50% because the thing is to bright!
