subs
So I've got 2 10'' pioneer subs that I have in an estimated 2.5 cubic foot box. I was powering these 2 subs with my 250w sony explode.
I just found out that these subs have a 500 watt max and I was significantly under powering them. I was planning on trading my 2 250 watt amps and the box and subs for 2 12'' punch subs with a 300watt max and a rockford fostgate amp-max 300watts. Now I know wattage isn't the only important thing so here it is broken down for yall. My setup: 2 10'' TS-W250R Pioneer subs: 4ohms each, max pwr 500watts, normal pwr 120watts Sony Xplod: 100 Watts RMS @ 4 Ohms Kenwood KAC-5201: 40 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms 60 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms 120 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms Trade for: 2 12'' Rockford Fosgate Punch Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofer P1S412 300W peak power handling Rockford Fosgate 300W Class AB Mono Amplifier P300-1 300W peak output @ 2 ohms Help? |
