Yup... Ran it last year on my Talon and worked pretty well. Had a friend machine me a flange (pictured) to mount a small pulley to the crank and it turned out very good.

I am going to get both of the stock fuel rails annodized, they are plenty big to run methanol on... I'll throw up a list of everything after a bit.

Ok Jake that's not fair! You can't have two turbos and nawzzzzz. You gotta give me one of the three!

I think he's kidding on the turbos. Twins doesn't make any sense on a 4-banger.

Don't forget the collapsible passenger floor pan.

Re: So I'm thinking about a twin turbo setup... Opinions?

Damn Steve! I forgot about that. Gotta get that overnighted from Japan!

Yes I'm kidding.

Turbo on the left is a GT4718 (aka GT4788 or T88), turbo on the right is a GT4202

Kinda up in the air which one to use, I might put the T88 on just to see how long it will actually take me to spool the god damn thing. But thats also what the nitrous is for. I do like the fact that at 3 bar the turbo's efficentcy is right at 100lbs/min. :D

I know hes kidding, but it's not fair to have two cars with turbos that big. The rules say you can only have one.

If I remember right, Aerocomp used a T88 on a 2.0 and ran low 9's with just a few passes, can't remember if they used NAWZ at all. A 2.14L with a 150-shot and a 10K launch should get you down the track in a hurry.:bullrider:

I know... I got it because it was a very good deal and I couldnt pass it up. I'm going to put it on just to see how it actually does, most likely I will be pulling it and putting the 4202 back on.

Didn't Jesus have a T88 on his car? I think spool was 7k or something like that. I know there was a video of the car at night somewhere.

There is a HUGE difference between a Greddy T88 and a Garrett T88. I assume Jesus had a Greddy T88 on his Eclipse, since he had one on his Supra too.

Re: So I'm thinking about a twin turbo setup... Opinions?

Yes... His was a Greddy T88.

This one is pretty damn big for a 4 cylinder but I would just like to see how it does. From what I know and have "heard" it is similar to Rau's old turbo before he went smaller.

I like the 4202 a lot and the plan is to run that but it wont hurt anything to try this.

Re: So I'm thinking about a twin turbo setup... Opinions?

Rau's current 80mm turbo spools at about my revlimiter.

Re: So I'm thinking about a twin turbo setup... Opinions?

The 4788 is a realy big turbo, even for a supra. I would think based on the ARP head studs and headgasket choice you might want to try the 4202 and keep the boost low. Its kind of cool that the "4788" looks not to much bigger then the 4202, just get a GT5591.5 and call it good.

Re: So I'm thinking about a twin turbo setup... Opinions?

I ran 42psi last year on the 42 with ARP's and the OEM head gasket with no o-ring. Never saw any problems.

If I could find some A1's I would be happy, but right now I do not have any. So there for they are not on my modification list. :)

I know Marco had a few sets awhile back, maybe I should get in touch with him again and see if he received and still has a set in stock.
