Cannot Find Speakers Anywhere

I am in a search for a 3-way Component set of Diamond Audio speakers with the sizes of 6.5" and 5.25" and 1". I absolutely cannot find them for the life of me and nothing else will work since my pods were built specifically around those speakers and grills.

Have you tried the online stereo vendors like Crutchfield, etc.? If they exist, I don't see why they'd be hard to find online.

You want the 5.25" set(S500) and the 6.5" woofer add on (S6.0mx3):

I have no experience with these guys, they just popped up.

It has to be that they are old or something I can't find the actual 3-way components anywhere but alone they can be found. Pic I have below are the old speakers that were in my car with the old color.

The one I posted is a 3-way set. The woofers come with their own crossovers to turn the 2-way set into a 3-way.

The only car audio sites I know of are...
www.crutchfield.com
www.sounddomain.com
www.mmxpress.com

Ok so I got the Infinity References in my doors and all I need to get are 5 1/4 components for the pods and my question is, do I hook up another pair of crossovers to the ones I have already or do I hook the 2 speakers to the ones already in place or no?

Re: Cannot Find Speakers Anywhere

You are probably in trouble. You are going to have to find out what the crossover points are. I would have gotten the Infinity's with the 5.25" (like I said earlier) then add the 6.5", the crossovers work together that way.

It was a christmas gift from my dad which I waited to long to return. But what about buying a pair of actual 3-way component crossovers alone? would that solve the problem?

Re: Cannot Find Speakers Anywhere

Yes, that would solve the problem. I woiuld go for some real 6.5" woofers if you can find them. JL Audio has some nice midbass speakers.

The Diamond Audio are great speakers. I have the 2-way Hex series in my doors/dash, M5 2-way in the rear quarters and two 10 inch Hex MacDaddy subs in the back.

I had a weird thing happen with my system today.. I was driving to work and everything was working just fine.. After work I hopped in my car and noticed the sub was not working at all, I hadn't fiddled with anything at all and everything was on and working.. Later on today it started working but horse sounding then after a while later it works normal. I don't have a clue what the hell went wrong.

Sounds like a loose connection.

ya that could be. I checked everything around the amp but nothing to the deck so Ya that could very well be the thing.
