Yea that is messed up, but the cobra doesnt have teeth and they dont know how to constrict. Still its messed up..

That's really fucked up... Those gypsies over in India do terrible things to those snakes. It's really sad. But to let a baby play with one, even though it was de-fanged, is just wrong.

Its part of their culture so I won't judge. A lot of foreigners think Americans are sick and cruel for performing circumcisions on most baby boys.

I guess my last post could be taken a couple different ways. I understand it's their culture to do that kind of stuff, but I just think it's kinda messed up that they take the fangs out of the snakes, then trick people into believing that they are immune to the snake's bites because of some stupid little trinkets that they sell for money. I'm not an animal rights activist or anything, but it's just a messed up situation. Taking the fangs out of the cobras is essentially killing them since they can't swallow any kind of food without them.

I agree and to think that its right and all. Coming from a father I wont ever let my kid near a snake. Unless its a gardner snake. Still scary.
