Local BP stations switching from 92 to 91?

A BP by my house that's carried 92 forever recently switched to 91 :( I've heard that it's happening all over the metro. Is this true? Can anyone else confirm/deny?

If this is widespread, I think I'll be switching to E85. I'll keep the alky kit for winter duty on 91 oct :D

I guess its true from what Chris has seen too. The one right by us is 91 now! Holiday gas is still 92 I believe, that is my second choice for gas so Ill just go there.

Holiday used to be 93 :( But they did the same thing. Now I get 92 at BP.... damn it.

I Think the 92's been 91 around here for a while they probly just changed the stickers. My car started getting more knock out of the blue around the same time that holiday droped there oction rating. coinsidience I think not. Time to go e-85

I went to 5 BP's yesterday before I finally found one with 92 (according to the stickers). I'd still rather run BP 91 instead of any other local brand 92. I wonder who we can complain to about this because I believe its the individual stations choice whether they have 91, 92, or 93 octane premium fuel (at least thats what I was told by a BP station owner in Duluth).

Its been 91 out here for a while. I think they are doing this country wide. Then again the price for gas jumped to 2.99g out here. It sucks.

The BP here in Winona has 93 still. A couple Kwik Trips have 92 also.

Time for a 92 octane list. BP at 94 and Lexington still has 92.

The BP on Vernon/50th and Highway 100 (right down the street from my apt) still has 92.

I would trust the 92 @ Conoco on Coon Rapids Blvd. and Foley Blvd. I had a full tank of it when I dynoed at DB this year and made some of the best power for my mods that Shane has tuned on an evo IX.
