JDM bumper yo!
I don't know alot about the actual pricing for body work (prep, paint, install), so I'll ask you guys.
I can get a genuine JDM front bumper for my Galant for around $220 shipped. The only thing is that it comes folded in 3 in a box. You take it out, let it sits for a few days and it straightens itself out. It would come used and painted, but normally in really decent condition. So for prep, paint, install of just a front bumper... what am I looking around? This is what a JDM galant looks like from the factory (minus the grill). http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...g/CIMG1250.jpg http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...g/CIMG1319.jpg |
Re: JDM bumper yo!
I really like that but you might want to look into what material it is. Having a bumper "unfold" seems a little wierd to me. Also, you would need to get those fogs fyi

I like it, it flows pretty well.
For just painting I would say around 300-400 for prep, paint, install. |
Re: JDM bumper yo!
That looks really good! I like it.
Poly bumpers are very flex-able but if its folded in 3, it might warp. |
Re: JDM bumper yo!
Yeah, there's no chance it's gonna look right without some major repairs from the plastic buckeling while it's folded.

Re: JDM bumper yo!
My intrepid had a truck back into the front bumper, it was a V dent style, ya know? (it was like the corner of the bumper backed into my bumper, erm!)
I was able to push it out and it went back to normal with just a few paint blemishes, I'm not too sure on how exactly the "guts" are but I'm sure it would of looked fine with a coat of paint or 4. Look for reviews brother |
Re: JDM bumper yo!
I like the bumper but don't like the very front with the two pieces that look like I I .. hard to explain. But looks good.
