Go-Karting, Sunday, April 29th, 11am

Anyone interested in going? The karts are similar to the ones used at the indoor Pro-Kart type places, but they are much faster with stickier tires. The prices are cheaper too; less money for more time. These things are a ton of fun! If you don't have your own helmet they have plenty to use.

I'm going there with my dad and his friend and everyone is welcome to join. The more the better!

This place is located in Cokato, MN which is west of the Cities on Hwy 12 (what 394 turns into out in Wayzata) about 45 minutes at the most.

*UPDATE* We are meeting at noon due to the track be rented from 10-12 that morning.

Are they the same people that were at the Auto Show?

Just an FYI. One of the EVO guys has that track rented from 9:30am to 1pm that day. So if you are just going on your own to race, don't get there before 1pm. I'm pretty sure all ths spots are filled up for his event, but you could email Tom at: myliberty@comcast.net

later,
Curt

How much is it and how long do you race, and any specs on the carts? I have seen the track and watched shifter kart racing there a few times but they did not have the rental at that time.

I don't remember exact cost or time, but like I said, cheaper and longer than the indoor places, plus way more fun. I have no specs on the karts other than "faster and stickier tires than the indoor places".

UPDATE:

The track is rented out from 10 am until noon, so we are meeting out there at 12-noon instead of 11 am and earlier specified.
