Trouble with my deck working!!!!!!!!
 

can anybody help me out?????????my deck just all of suddenly died when i was listening to it and it wont turn back on!!!!Does anyone know what could be wrong with my car?????????

I would start by checking the fuses. The one in the back of the deck and the one in your fuse panel. If they are good pull it out and make sure it still turns on when hooked up directly to a power and ground.

its still plugged in and still dont work....i checked the fuses and they were still good......

Do you have a volt meter? Check to see if it is getting power. If you have another deck you can swap in or another car you can try your deck in you could do that too.

If you cant do either of the above there isnt much more people can tell you here.

did you try what tim suggested? using a direct power supply to the deck? if it doesnt turn on then, the deck is gone.

is anything else not turning on or malfunctioning? id just check the fuses to the a/c gauges, your cluster, etc.

Is your cigeretta lighter still working? Did you check the fuse on the radio and in the car?

yea i just noticed this morning that not just the deck is dead but my door locks are dead too.......

Make sure you find out what cause your car fuse to blow. If you find a blown fuse.

Does the auto seat belts work still? If they quit too check your 80amp fuse. Its the big black one. If that blew there is your problem. But also check to see if a wire was crossed. Good luck.

Check the deck ground wire. ground it to the frame.
