radiator question
Well this past weekend my AC fan decided to take a shit and messed up the radiator :(. The picture below is the outcome of it. My question here is if the radiators are the same on a spyder and hatchback. Wouldn't a 2.0 n/t radiator work?I was thinking of just ebaying one since it seems to be the cheapest route. It would be for a '99 eclipse spyder gs-t.
Ebay radiator I'm looking at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99...11749121QQrdZ1 |
Re: radiator question
Different engines the NT uses a 420A which I'm guessing needs a lot smaller radiator than the turbo 4G63. Is your current radiator leaking at all? If not, and your engine is still cooling properly, just keep it.

Re: radiator question
Yes the radiator is leaking. It leaks from the crushed area on the right looking at the picture.

Re: radiator question
Bummer, find one from another turbo model. I know 1G AT and MT use different radiators, not sure about 2G.

Re: radiator question
NT are different(i can tell by the pics) the upper "nipple" on the turbo is in the middle and the lower one is on the pass side. The one pictured in upper is left and lower is right(totaly different). And also the autos most likely come with the tranny cooler built into them thats is why they are different.
On a side note I have a stock one I could sell(1998 spyder gst manual trans). |
Re: radiator question
PS: The fan on the driver side is the AC fan.

Re: radiator question
One other thing. Are the radiators the same on a turbo spyder and gs-t/gsx or are they different. I would assume they are the same.

Re: radiator question
