Measureing Cams...

Hey guys.
I was just wondering how to measure a cam to see if it is a 272 or whatever it is.
I have a digital caliper but not sure what measurement unit the 272 is in or how the cam is measured?

Measure the cam length-wise, then add the sum of all the lobe heights, divide that by .0189548395 and you should get 272. If not, box them up and send them to me, I'll trade you for a nice set of stock 2G cams.
