oil pressure
 

trying to find a way to lower my oil pressure a lil bit here. any ideas would help. currently at warm idle its has 35psi of pressure and at 3k it has 85psi. on my old stock engine w/ same autometer oil gauge i had like 15psi at idle and 60ish at 3k.

Pull the front cover and port the relief hole. There's a VFAQ on it somewhere.

For a dsm the releif valve is in the oil filter housing. Why do you need to lower it?

i dont know if i really need to, but its just a lil strange watching the oil gauge rap around it self when you get on it.

What are the min and max of the oil guage?
I believe mine goes from 0-12 bar, and when i get on it, its usually around 9-10 bar.

mines in psi going from 0-100 then has the usual like 1/4 of nothing on the bottom that it likes to go to while it winds up

Isn't one bar 14.5 psi? so 10 bars is 145 psi? 100 seems pretty low for a max on the guage.
