Another sleeper?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ME:L:LCA:MT:31

I think the asking price is reasonable with all that has been done.

I absolutely love that swap.

Re: Another sleeper?

That looks pretty dope, but wtf was he thinking by not paying the extra money to make the pictures expand.

I also would never buy a convertable s2k either.

Re: Another sleeper?

I saw the vid of the other one; this one looks more complete w/ the built rear-end. Very nice, that car would f*cking rock! I can't wait to see one of these in person, coolest thing since sliced bread.

Re: Another sleeper?

If it was a hard top it would easily be the dopest thing I've seen in a while.

Re: Another sleeper?

huh... didn't know they even made these in hardtops. Yeah I really wish the images were bigger, but regardless that car is pimp.

Re: Another sleeper?

I'm almost positive they do, but I could be wrong. I swear on my life I've seen a couple in a hard top platform, but the majority of them are soft tops.

^^^
Pick of hardtop s2k.

I thought you could only buy an aftermarket hard top for them. I may be wrong though too.

Cool swap.

Re: Another sleeper?

"A lightweight (44 pounds) aluminum hardtop is optional."

http://www.edmunds.com/honda/s2000/review.html

I recommend reading that article, isn't long and is a good read. 2000-2003 had 2.0 liters that reved to 9k, in 2004 a 2.2 liter that reved to 8.2k was released.

I recommend the tank engine swap, like Jay Leno.

Re: Another sleeper?

I like that it isn't all ghetto'd up with body kits and crap. Nice and simple, with huge power and a new thing to S2000's, torque.

DSM_421 04-02-2007 10:45 PM

Re: Another sleeper?

I hate body kits, there are some decent aftermarket front bumpers for some cars. But for the most part I just like to leave it as close to stock as possible, just clean up the flaws.

Re: Another sleeper?

I'd do it.

BTW, they never made a hardtop S2k. You can buy a hartop and put it on.. just like a lot of other convertibles..

Can you say drift, the power to weight ratio is ridiculous
