Throttle bodies

me and a buddy are looking at building a velocity stack intake and we can build it to mate up to any throttle body. Anyone have any Idea on the best one to use?

Re: Throttle bodies

Depends on what turbo you're running. I'd do a Q45 TB.

Do the bolts for the Q45 throttle body line up with the Stock 2g bolts? Anyone know this?

Which ones do? The Rustang? 1g? Holley Double pumper?

Re: Throttle bodies

Sounds like 1g tb would be fine for this fella.

Re: Throttle bodies

It would be best to cover both stock and a 90mm TB, what are you going to make the smim out of?

Re: Throttle bodies

I'm thinking aluminum but we can make it out of stainless if we want, the metal will probably be free. will the stainless be better because of less heat that will be transfered from the block?

Re: Throttle bodies

Unless you're going big on the turbo in the future, the stock TB is more than adequate.
