Boost Leak Tests

Just wanted to remind everyone that spring is here, the cars are coming out of storage, and it's a good idea to check for boost leaks. I am having a hard time getting my 1600's to idle right now with E85, and decided to quit screwing with the software, and start with the basics and check for boost leaks. I just checked mine and found 2 fairly large leaks right off the bat that stood out like a soar thumb at the TB elbow, and the BOV flange. Just a friendly reminder!!!

W3rd, i did mine last night too and i need some new couplers.
when you push 60+psi on the regulator and your gauge only shows 2!! you have a problem, but it also means more power!!

This is the only time you'll ever hear me say this: Home Depot

Haha, I prefer Lowe's personally! Cost maybe 10 bucks or so to build mine.
