Pretty, but WTF torque?

Re: New BMW M3- V8 (56k no no)

In NA apps torque is largely a function of displacement, so ~300ft/lbs isnt bad at all for a 4.0

Yea, lower torque due to smaller V8, high revs though. I want to hear this thing, it has to sound insane.

Not a fan. The body looks a bit chunky IMO and I am a fan of inline 6's so going to a V8 kinda killed it for me.

The body looks chunky? Apparently you haven't seen an Evo8/9.

Yea I like the new body, its so smooth. I dont like the current 3 and 5 series bodies as much but they did well on the new M3, imo.

Dudes, wake up and smell the crack pipe!!! The old six was 330hp/262 lb/ft, the new engine bitch slaps you with 420hp/295 lb/ft. It will the best M3 ever.

Re: New BMW M3- V8 (56k no no)

I bet it would make 425hp with a sexpipe.

LOL probably make alot more than that, the stock exhaust seems pretty restrictive, and it has quite a few curves in it. The headers look awesome though.

It will be interesting once aftermarket and Dinan throws a SC on it. :D

With headers like that I seriously doubt they choked it in the catback. Looks like decently straight true dual exhaust with decent diameter.

Thats true, for stock it does look pretty nice, but if you remove the 2 cats, and 4 resonators im sure it would make things flow alot better.
