What's up everbody??? Reciently a friend came up to me with the Idea of a car show in Hilltop/Columbia Heights area at Dukes Bar & Grill/ Double A Lanes Central and 45th st. He is the owner of both establishments and is looking for PR, the parking lot is huge and Food and Beverage will be for the most part on hand its a "bar and grill" nothing yet set in stone like a date yet but their will be Drink specials and Food specials .50 to $1.00 beers:beer: possible $1.00 shots:beer: and food possible 50% off all food. :beer: Let me know what you think on good dates that people would be avalible and Idea's to make it a SMASH.. This Establishment is also a night club so after the show its to the VIP we go.

You might want to tighten down on things a little bit more than that; pick a set of potential dates.

Bacially you just need to figure out what is already planned, pick a weekend, and roll with it. MN summers are oftern packed with all sorts of events, so new ones stuggle to get their hype up.

If he put together some bowling packages or something it might be a way for admins of various car forums to advertise with a banner or something. I personally don't like randon events just tossed up on here, if we are being used for promotion, it should go with something (even something small) in return, and a few free game packages we can toss out to out members would be ideal. This also gets them in the door for food and beer sales.

Ahhh yes their will be Bowling and possible packages include either 50% off or free Games with purchase of 1 game or shoe's or something like that "more details too come". And a date!! Thats the problem except the Spring cruz and the Dyno days I have no Idea what else is going on, of course i could use the calander to see but I just thought of that and typing for my health.

About 5 miles south of Rochester is a town called Stewartville, MN. Every Friday (6-9pm) they have something like this. I'm not familar with the food and drink specials, since I'm always there just to look at the cars (mostly muscle). Maybe something like that would be appealing up here.

Do not wait until November. Ya get some temp dates setup. If it's May, I'm pretty much out. Anything other then that, and I "should" be able to make it. 50c Beer, that's all I need to hear.

April and May are already pretty well booked with other car events, go for June sometime.
