Ok i am sure most of you have seen the video of Smithey (RIP) from team nabr dynoing his car. Well in the movie it shows that he had this J&S Safeguard individual knock control system.
Does anyone run this or know if this is something that we should be looking into getting.
I am pretty positive that this is an old item, but why dont i see this much anymore on peoples mod lists.

money better spent on a decent tune so it doesnt knock in the first place!

They are useful with standalones like the old Haltechs that don't have much for knock sensor support. I have tuned a few cars with them. They take a little work to get setup right. With an AEM EMS, you can just use the knock sensor support built into it.

yeah i was just wondering because that video is pretty old, i figured someone has put that in already.
