WTB : exhaust parts

the exhaust is a standard 2.5 ghetto mild steel piping. It was full from the turbo to the muffler with no cuts ( one big long ass peice with no flex section) so I plan to put in a flex and cut / flange the "catback" so that the exhaust is actually useable.

Parts needed
- 2.5'' flex section
- 2 flanges to mate where the DP and CB come together ( 2.5'' )

I have no idea where to find these. I just went to diesel components and got some flex and clamps for it but it is definitly not what I wanted. These are things I'm sure Jet has but I haven't been able to get ahold of him.

I'd rather not order anything online because I'd love to have it today or tomorrow :P If it comes to that though..

I agree about O'reilly's They stock a lot and can order things quickly.

Otherwise, try going to a muffler/exhaust place. They should have parts on hand. I've got one that's been very helpful, but it's in Cannon Falls so I don't really know a specific one to recomend around your area.

Re: WTB : exhaust parts

I called there and the best the guy could come up with is "we only can get 2" flex" so either he is a complete tool, or O'reilly's is out of the question since they 'don't have the part. Somehow I find it hard to believe that no car out there has a 2" flex section ;/

Awesome, he's gonna call me back tomorrow and let me know what he can come up with. I was crying about how lame my exhaust is and it turns out he doesn't run a flex either! lol, I hope I didn't piss him off :P Seemed like a cool guy too.
