How to build a 240sx clutch out of a saw blade

I sure would like to be around when it SAWS that bellhousing in half!!

Ya know, I honestly have no idea how someone could be that damn stupid to seriously conceive an idea like that.....

JDM 02-01-2004 06:00 AM

Let him turn his home-made clutch into a crushed pop can. What the fuck. Even I'm not that dumb, and let's face it, I've done a lot of dumb things...

Elite Spring Opener???

Hahahaha, that is freaking funny stuff. Some people are definately taking the home depot mod thing a bit on the extreme side. He mentioned customs in the thread so he is not from our country, otherwise I would have bet money he was from Iowa.

On the flip side of things though, I do admire people who think anything is possible and will try to prove it. It may work out just fine. And in reality, what problems could he have with it? The only thing I would worry about is the temper of the steel in the blade and if it will work-harden too much with heat from regular use. It wouldn't be good to have it fracture at speed and come apart, but then again it is just a 240 so I doubt that will be an issue either.
