Twin Engine 1g...
I dont know why I have never seen or even heard of it... I guess its been around for awhile. Searched for it but couldnt find anything either. Check it out.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...ne+talon&hl=en I guess he was letting off at the 1/8th and running 12s. Interesting at all the money and time invested but no roll cage. |
Re: Twin Engine 1g...
Geez, I haven't heard anything about that car in years. Good to see it's still out there. I'd really like to see what it'd do with no cage restriction rules.

Re: Twin Engine 1g...
Kinda reminds me of the twin engine CRX that Car and Driver did back in 84.
They talked about double takes from gas station customers when they would hear one engine start and about a second later the second engine fire up. |
Re: Twin Engine 1g...
Yea, I've heard of this thing, seen some pics, but never in action! Very cool!
here's a second vid: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...ne+talon&hl=en |

Re: Twin Engine 1g...
It was at the DSM Shootout a few years back and they wouldn't let him run, and they let every pile run there. It was a serious death trap of a car back then.

Yeah, the CRX still remains a hell of a twisty track dominater in (and sometimes out of) it's class. Very underpowered, but very light and very nimble. I still have that magazine sitting on my coffee table. Of course I have nearly every car and driver since the early 60's (I think). Obviously everything out does it as far as power these days. But with very little tweaking, they are a hell of a twisty track car. |
Re: Twin Engine 1g...

Re: Twin Engine 1g...
I remember seeing it at the shootout. It was pretty cool.

Re: Twin Engine 1g...
Yeah, that thing was sweet to see. I'm positive I have video of it running (not racing) at the shootout. Just have to dig it out.

Re: Twin Engine 1g...
There have been a few twin turbo 4G63 DSMs.
