Well it seems like everyone is reintroducing themselves so I will too. Hi I am Brandon. I'm from Maple Grove, MN. I do not live there anymore because I'm in the marines. I'm stationed in Yuma, AZ which is located on the border of AZ, CA, and Mexico. This place is horrible, but Phoenix and Diego aren't too far so that's where we party. I drive 2 cars. I have a 91 tsi awd and a 85 oldsmobile. I used to own a pretty nice 95 eclipse but it was FWD and also i was making payments on it so I got rid of it and went with a 1G because its more affordable. How much longer are you going to be stationed in AZ? DSMStyle and myself (or at least me probably) are going to be in Mesa/Phoenix area in June probably.

I will be here for awhile. Around the August/September time frame we are leaving for Iraq, but until then I'm chilling here. Mesa is where my mom just bought her new house. I'm still not sure what im going to do when I get out. It's either Phoenix or Minneapolis. And it's a really hard decision because my best friends are back in MN, but Phoenix is such a nice place. I'm trying to get my friends to get the heck outta that crap hole and move to Phoenix because the cost of living is pretty even with that of the Twin Cities, but the job market in Phoenix is huge, one of the best right now. Also no snow, year round racing, ASU (one of the top party colleges) which makes the lil downtown area around there awesome to party at. 3 of my friends are already prolly moving there with me, but i'd like them all to come live here. So just incase any of you hate the winter and wanna find a nice place to live, Phoenix is a real hot spot right now so consider it!!! OK I'm done recruiting now. Miranda~how come you live in MN? The way you make it sound, it sounds like you're from socal. why the heck would you leave the southwest to live in MN?

bleh, from what i've seen of phoenix its okay, but its got a little too much ghetto around the outside for my liking. also, the whole city is like 5 stories tall at the most. i'm used to minneapolis, with big ass buildings and less motorcycle stealings. ASU is fun though, no regrets there.

If you are under 21, then ya it's not so great. But if you're 21+ and you go to Phoenix and you hate it, then you either did not know where to go, you don't like to party and have fun, or you're idea of fun involves reruns of the Golden Girls and a jar of vasoline. Phoenix is awesome. Ghetto? ya maybe inside Phoenix. Just like parts of Minneapolis are ghetto. But go into a Phoenix suburb like Mesa, Tempe, Chandler. It's nicer there. There's even nice places in Phoenix. It's like someone from out of state who comes to the U of M, and says "Oh the Twin Cities is one big ghetto" just because all they've seen is the area around the U of M. My mom just bought a house. It's so nice. It's on this little lake. She has cactus' in the front yard, in the back she has an orange tree, lemon tree, raspberry bushes, and someother fruity plants. It's nice as heck, and I think cost them like 170 grand. It's way nicer than the house in Maple Grove they just sold for like 200 grand. The cost of living in Phoenix is just under that of MN. For every 30grand you spend on a house in MN, it would only be about 28 grand in Phoenix. Close, but adds up once u get to a lil more expensive house. Anyway, just wanted to tell you that the Phoenix area is not ghetto, assuming it is from what you've "seen" is nothing but an assumption, because you are wrong.

i live in tempe and i've been all over scottsdale, fashion square, all that nice shiz. i know its nice, but i don't consider the burbs to be Phoenix. i consider that big smelly thing 20 miles away to be that. and i'm 21, but partying is just about as far down on my list or priorities as you can get, (its right under playing Edward 40 hands)

Exactly, partying is down on your list. No crap you're not going to like it. You're not going to like it anywhere you are if you don't like to get out and have a little fun now and then. If you do nothing but sit at home then it doesn't matter where you are at, ur life will be a lil boring. But if you like to get out, even if its not like every weekend, even if it's once a month, you'll always have somewhere to go in the Phoenix area to get blitzed and have some fun. And when i say Phoenix, i mean it and its suburbs, because if I talk about Scottsdale, then who the heck on here is gunna know what im talking about. I bet most of the people on here haven't heard of Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale, or Chandler. So I mean that whole vicinity when I say Phoenix. Anyway, we're going partying there this weekend. It's not gunna be as fun because my friend from MN will be with us and she is 20, so we're gunna have to be sneaky. We're gunna get her in through the back door of Cactus Jacks which is a ghetto lil bar, but we had so much fun there last weekend. And on Friday we might do some drunken bowling because that's always fun and u don't need to be 21 to go bowling. Anyway, you can think what you want, but get your friends together and go to The Library, or Owl's Nest, or RA, or Malonies, or that other place that I forgot the name of but they have a wheel of fortune thing where u drink whatever the wheel lands on and its 5 bux for 3 shots and get drunk and as long as you and your friends are there to have a good time, then you will have a blast! If you're ever bored on the weekend, just call me up and if im in Phoenix you can come kick it with us, i guarantee you'll have fun! Oh and i hope you like to dance, cuz all but like 1 of us dance all damn night!!

yup, i've seen all that stuff. i'm only about 1.5 miles from mill ave. thanks for the invite though, that was cool. i just don't party though, i'd rather go to punk shows or play DDR heh.

ya I've played that DDR thing once at my friend Alyssa's. It was kinda fun, i just sucked at it. But if you wanna turn off the playstation some night and spend like maybe 20-30 bux and get drunk and party the night away, just lemme know and if im in phoenix ill let you know where we're at!

ps, u know any places around phoenix where i could get a cf hood for a 91 tsi, or maybe get some seat brackets made?
