New EvoX Prototype to be unveiled at 1pm CST today!
 

Word on the street is that the new prototype for the EvoX will be unveiled today, along with the full production version of the (regular) Lancer at the Detroit auto show. Here's some preliminary pics:

Nope. It's supposed to be a 2008 model, so I'm sure it will be a while yet.

Most of the pics out there right now are of the concept car. These are of the actual production prototype :)

There's a prototype Eclipse floating around with the same drivetrain as the new EVO. They need to put it into production, then they'd have two cars to bail them out of their financial mess instead of one.

Damn, 200 lbs heavier that the current Evo really sucks! Hopefully the MR comes with a 2.4l and reduced weight!
