Forum based classifieds are coming back.
 

Well Chris and I are on the same page, it's time to bring the old forum/thread based classifieds back. The system we went to would of worked as desired except for 2 flaws we where advised would be something that could work.

- auto approve comments
- ads show up in new posts feature

This is something that just hasn't happened yet and thought we aren't going to give up 100% on it, it's time to give the members a fully functional, and properly working system to use. We will stay this way till we find something that fixes the other system to work better than forum based. Till then, be assured we are listening to the requests of our mebers. Sometimes just not as fast as some of you guys like. :D


So look for the new forums to be up shortly, I'm in the process of adding them, and putting up the announcements for them.

I doubt it right now, we are just gonna take out time in making it work flawless. We will see what happens. It's tied with the gallery we use though as well, and that works just fine.

Yup, getting full vbulletin integration like they promised just was not happening, so screw it. We'll leave the other classifieds up for a bit so people can grab their old ads off of it, but forum-based ads are BACK!

Sweet. I didn't like how the new classifieds were. The only drawback to forum based classifieds is having to moderate all the stupid bullshit that people post up. If members actually use common sense it will be a miracle.

Never the less it will be a lot easier to sell and get things this way.

Looks like my post count will go right back up! LOL

Even though I haven't been buying / selling dsm parts, I still like to look at the ads and it is SO much easier to read the forum style ads :)
