The reality of track racing
 
Just a video for anyone who thinks of taking their car to a road course for a high speed lapping session. It's a sobering reminder what the proper safety equipment really does for you in a severe accident. It's this reason alone that I will never take my daily driver to a road course.

Did you notice the welds on the cage? The part right behind the driver's seat wasn't even welded all the way around! Pretty nutty crash though!

Wow, I can't believe he put his hands up.
That really shows the point of having proper safety equipment in a RACING vehicle, good post Matt.

Wow that was nuts. And I want to road race the Talon. Then again if I do that I think about a cage for it. But eh...lucky he is alive.
