They just announced the next mazda revit up challenge. The website is here. I am pretty sure I will be going. It is May 8th and 9th at Canterbury. If others are going, lets all try and get in the same group. It is $40.

I've already signed up with a few people at work. We are in run group 7 on May 8th. (May 9th is Mother's day). It should be a blast.

Not to try to sound like a dumb ass or anything, but what exactly is the Mazda rev it up challenge. I heard about last year, but can someone please fill me in :drool:

It's basically an autocross style driving school, with professional instructors. The price is awesome for what you get. Plus you get to rip around in a Mazda 3, instead of beating up your own car.

Yeah, it was pretty fun last year. I think I am going the 9th, the 8th is a Rock Falls day!

How hard do you get to drive the car, like beat the shit out of it hard. :3gears:

oh yeah, we beat the crap out of the 6's last year. Tires squealing, power braking on takeoff, the whole bit. It was pretty cool! You don't get to drive the other cars hard though, just the 3's.

My guess is yeah. Last year they used the Mazda 6 with an automatic with the auto stick thing.

My dad and I are in group 26 on the 9th. If anyone else wants to join, feel free! We might try and get into chalk talk with an earlier group to get some extra practice time :P
