Damn that would be a rush having an animal trying to eat you and you end up walking away unharmed. He had to be harmed some though, atleast bruised to shit or something.

You have to remember the size of these things, too. Their mouths are so big and their teeth are so big they could easily take a leg off. Check out this pic from when i was there last week:

Those are some nice pics. What kind of camera are you using?

That is pretty crazy though. You would think after as long as the whales have been working with people they wouldnt feel threatened by them anymore.

I just bought a Canon SD800IS the night before I left for this trip. It freeking rocks, 3.8x optical zoom, 15.2x full zoom. These pics were taken from the 3rd or 4th row from the back of the stadium (it was cold, didn't want to get wet!).
