Tim: PM sent
Eclipse_Spyder: Everything except for driver side rear axle turbotalon1g: Mostly based on lack of time in regards to having two shop cars, we will be focusing on our 1g from here on out. We are finding it hard to get time to work on just one! |
Re: F/S: 2G Rolling Chasis
Can you give me some info on the wheels and tires?
|
Re: F/S: 2G Rolling Chasis
Chris if it come down to it and you start parting stuff out. I have a GST that likes to spin the tires(if you know what I mean). I need AWD.

Re: F/S: 2G Rolling Chasis
Here is some info on the tires:
Hoosier Quick Time Pro Bias-Ply DOT 26x9.5x15 http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku https://www.hoosiertire.com/Drtire.htm I would estimate 90-95% tread left. There are street legal, yet bias ply. Wrinkle wall effect should decrease shock on driveline, however my rear axle was a victim of such traction lol. They were suprisingly good on the road as well if you wanted to drive it on the street. Here is some info on the wheels: Weld Racing Draglites 15x8 http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku Very, very lightweight! I'm fairly confident that I could throw the wheel and tire a good 10-15 feet lol. They have a 4.5" backspacing, on this car it had about an inch clearance from the upper control arm which we liked based on the fact that they raise/change form at high speeds. We have spacers on the fronts to clear the brake caliper, but there was no need for a spacer on the rear. They do stick out a little, as you can see, but in order to get a 9.5" tire in there and still have clearance it is something we had to deal with. They also required longer wheel studs and special lugs, which I have if you need them. Let me know if you have any other questions or feel free to stop by and check them out... Chris |
Re: F/S: 2G Rolling Chasis
The Hoosiers are in good shape. I'm still trying to figure out what to offer for them and the Welds. If they were on Rotas, I'd be in for sure.
