Opinions on vented hood
A buddy of mine saw this picture and wanted to do the same thing for his car. I thought it look okay I guess but I want to know what you guys think about it. Not that it really matters but his is a rs as to mine is a 2g gst.

I kinda like it. I especially like it how they used the original bump in the hood to make it...it's different.

Where that vent is located it doesnt seem to be so functional. All that is doing is cooling down the timing belt cover haha. But technically, it's allowing cooler air to enter the engine bay, hopefully reducing underhood temps. I'd say do as you wish, but don't make it ghetto.

That's actually pretty sweet. I'm with flametail, I think it's sweet how they used the actual hump. Just don't make it cheap. Post up pics if you do it!!!

Looks cool. I think it would be better to spend the extra money on a good CF hood. But since his is an NA. He can get fresh air into his intake. He might not be able to drive it in the rain though.
