today's voting

Did you vote today?

I would think if nothing else, the transporation amendment would be fairly important to just about all of us.

I am voting after work. It will be the first time I've ever voted, mostly because there are some things on the ballot that will greatly affect me in the future (ie. school levy).

I'm waiting for an all-inclusive party vote, so I can just check Republican and get the hell out of there. Saves time. :D

No joke. Didn't this conversation come about around this time a year or two ago?

Me too, except Democrat. It would make it easier. But if you study the candidates, I'm sure some will be more appealing than others, even if they are not your party of choice.

Edit: There was a black guy at one of the tables that sounded like the black guy from Family Guy. I was laughing as I voted.

Agreed, I'm middle of the road.

It was nice, though. Because I had to register they made me skip ahead of about 30 people, haha!

Some dems, some greens, some independants. I'm all over the board :)

Drove a ton of miles and was late to work just to vote.

Just aheads up BUSH is not on the ballot, nor will he be again. No point commenting about it.

I did my civic duty. That transportation amendment better pass. They did a good job of putting the "vote yes" billboard right on I-94 near Rogers where everybody sits in gridlock every flipping day!

later,
Curt

Agreed, I even saw Vote Yes signs in the middle of Roseville, Arden Hills and New Brighton while driving around for work.

I also voted yes to pass a levy referendum for Mounds View Public Schools. Hopefully it passes so I don't have to worry about looking for a job in 2 years. :(

What's the transportation amendment? I did not vote today because I did not get my absentee request done in time. :(

A man that thinks for himself...........I hate people that say "I'm a Republican, therefore I vote for only Republicans." You're voting for a person, not a party. I'm sure Democrats wouldn't vote for John Kerry after his stupid comment. And I hope Republicans wouldn't vote in Foley for his actions. People such as these should not dictate our future. Please vote responsibly.
