I want it!!

It is street legal in flordia! Man this would rock in an auto-x or road race event. |
Re: I want it!!
Badass! Need an LS7 or something though.

Wait, what are you doing online? I am working on our shopping cart, and both widebands came in!! :). |
Re: I want it!!
Sweet! But just doesn't sound right with a V8. But still sweet.
|
Re: I want it!!
Pft, formula one cars have V8s now nucca!
Sweet car! |
Re: I want it!!
no way, i would love to drive that at least once
|
Re: I want it!!
It definately needs a blower.
|
Re: I want it!!
jesus that thing is sweet, kind of weird with a chevy V8 though.
|
Re: I want it!!
its an alright a-b car, i'd drive it if it was given to me...j/k this thing is tits!
|
Re: I want it!!
I'll be down in florida in 2 weeks...if anyone wants me to pick this up for them and drive it back, i'd be more than willing! :D
|
Re: I want it!!
The Chevy small block is a dumb way to go with that thing.
My theory is confirmed by the video of it doing nothing but burnouts, which is really all you would be doing in a 1000-lb car with that much torque. I highly doubt you could put your foot down in a corner with that thing. |
Re: I want it!!
I agree, the V8 is wrong for that car. It'd be fun to find a decent roller and drop a 2.14L DSM and transaxle in there. 1000 lbs and 400 whp would still be a wild ride. You should be able to title it as a kit car in Minnesota.
I was just looking for a kit car roller to stuff this 32-valve Ford engine I'm building up a few weeks ago. There are lots of unfinished project cars on Ebay. |
Re: I want it!!
nice
|
Re: I want it!!
I agree on the engine problem. It made me realize why f1 cars have 800-900 hp and 250 lbs of torque.
|
Re: I want it!!
That would be sweet. It wouldn't be street legal here though since there's no fenders or anything over the wheels. Considering what you get, it's a really reasonable price as well :)

Re: I want it!!
I just bought it.
Gonna drop an Aurora All aluminum v-8 in it, destroked to 2 3/4 inches. Woot. |
Re: I want it!!
That'd be a mighty tall deck on that there v8. Have you seen F1 rods? they are 2 3/4 inches themselves, the stroke is about an inch, and the bore is something like 3 inches or around there.
There were some awesome facts in this C&D a while back when the ferrari team let a guy publish a book about the details of their f1 car from around 2000. it's redline is 18K and it rpms at 22k a second, so, in less than a second, it's at redline when free revving. not to mention the intake runners adjust length within that rev range, so they are moving quite fast also. Like lance said, It's an amazing machine. |
Re: I want it!!
Dumb. That motor sounds sooooo incredibly wrong in that car. It neeeds the motor that was in it, back in it. Also, that thing's gotta pull hardcore! DEFINATLY has the speedway oval camber on the front and rear-positive on the left side, negative on the right.
