BC Cams

I just stumbled across these today, and thought I'd share the link. Maybe everyone already knows about them, but I didn't. Seems like a real good price. If I would have known about these, I would have gotten them instead of my FFWD ones. Anywho, anybody know anything about these cams? Seem to be pretty friggin cheap.

They're the same Crowers several of us had years ago. Brian Crower ran the import side of Crower Cams and apparently split from his pop's operation a while back. Hopefully they upped quality control because they're the cams I mentioned in another thread that needed to be degreed and not installed straight up. Plus I put a set of their custom grinds on Mark Cook's car back in the day and the lobes wore down severely within 500 miles. I sent them back and got a new set from Brian along with their springs and ti retainers, which I still have.

Brian did admit that he got a bad batch of cores that weren't treated, I believe some of the other manufacturers were having the same problem at the time. HKS seems to be the only one that always been almost perfect. Hence the reason they hold their value so well. 272's always perform.

I'm going to be selling mine over the winter though, I've heard real good things about some newer grinds that work well on my setup. http://www.cugy.net/forums/images/smilies/devil.gif

Brandon, I didn't know you were in the market for cams and I guess I forgot to post the news on this forum that these are back in stock!

We have about 45 of our original 60 sets left, and at a much lower price than our competition ;) Check it out:

But to answer your question Brandon, Kyle has the 280's in his car...Seem to be working as expected if not better ;)

This thread is old as fuck. Way to bring it back SBR GM, you get a gold star!

Chris - Awhile after I started this thread, I bought your 272's from Kyle! And I'm plenty happy with them. So no I'm really not in the market for cams right now, but good to hear you have some in stock for anyone looking for some!
