That just ticks me off. It sure seems like they could lower the gas prices a bit more, and still make a shit load of money.

Good for them. Crude oil is a publically traded commodity just like so many other things.

exxon posted big numbers every quarter this year so far. The price of oil spiked up 2$ or so due to opecs actions

Ya gas around here is hovering at 2$ a gal. The other day I saw it at 1.95$ gal. But its alot better then what we saw over the summer.

Time to crack open the Rocky Mountain shale and get prices under $1/gal again. I miss the good old days, of course I made $3.35/hr back then so the gas/income ratio wasn't too hot even then. Damn.

LMAO. But seriously, how old are you? 3.35/hour? I thought they raised the minimum wage to 5.15 back in the 70's. ;)

Hey, I say, let 'em raise the price of gas, it would have to be somewhere between 10 and 15 bucks a gallon for people to honestly start making changes in how they transport themselves, and using gasoline would be for elite people. But, why should we even search for more when we could be using straight ethenol? There are so many products that when fermented can be used as fuel, it's retarded.

But I'm not in the position to change it, so i'll be happy riding the bus this winter. :)
