Locked in a burning shed.

Again, this is some seriously messed up shit. What the hell are kids thinking these days. You can't even punish kids the right way (giving them the belt) without those in charge (parents, gaurdians, sitters, daycare) getting in trouble with the law.

Some children are truely disturbed yet society does nothing to prevent it. My personal feeling is that parents need to be held even more accountable. 9 out of 10 times a bully comes from a broken-home and/or just isn't given the love and attention they crave.

It says a arson task force is looking into it. I don't think the fact they lit the shed on fire is the main problem here:confused:

How about the police look into attempted murder.

YA, screw juvie. Try them as adults and throw them in prision with the big boys. I don't care how old you are, everyone knows its not ok to lock people in a shed and light it on fire.

Wow, that is crazy. Good thing he didn't die! I don't think you can get any more liberal than Canada, they are worse than Cali!

Most of them probably won't see any state sponsored punishments. I assume Canada has similar age requirements for the legal system. (10 years old to see court around here). The parents on the other hand may get smacked around by the man. (and they probably deserve it)

I was reading that and expecting the worst, thankfully the child didnt die.
I say, Throw the kids in jail or what have you, and then lock the parents away for a least a couple years, for not taking responcabilty for their kids. Hell we all do stupid shit when we are young, but we usually know the difference between playing ding dong ditch and murder.
