Curt Brown's car. Curt posted this on S2ki (he owns a '05 S2k) and figured some of you might be interested in checking it out.

Hard to imagine a small turbo'd car going that fast, but hey, money well spent, I guess.

Good luck on the bidding, holy high price, batman.

I can personally vouch for curt and this car. It was quite the site to see, and he's a really great guy. gt35r power at it's best when he drives it. He really knows how to drive. He works at a lotus dealership, so money isn't too hard for him to get. I'm suprised he's selling it so early, since he was going to run/try to run a high 8 on a 37r. He had this posted other places, but nothing really came of it. I guess things changed.

I guess the 40k price tag never had anyone to bite. Maybe Ebay will help?

Sweet car though, obviously tens of thousands more invested than the asking price.

Very sweet car.

He actually was askign like $55k I think. Beautiful mint car. It'd be one hawwt frumdig and frumroll car.

I bet his reserve is $35K. Even without the infamous CB mod, you should still see high 10's no sweat. :D

JET sell the M truck, 1gsilverdsm, 2gdsm, 1greddsm, 97blacktruck and 89tantruck, GTP and buy it. The payment should be low.

Re: record holding EVO for sale

That is the second sickest EVO I have ever seen. The only one better is the black one from Florida that AMS is always setting records with.

Re: record holding EVO for sale

^^except that evo doesnt have any track times to back up the mods. just street race vids. :(

TheBlizzard 10-21-2006 04:52 PM

Re: record holding EVO for sale

Yeah but the street racing vids give it a lot of credit. That car has spanked quite a few 600+whp vehicles with ease. There has been rumors of it running at the track though. Nothing concrete though. You would have to assume given the power it makes it should be a 9 second car.

Curt Brown could drive a Camry into the 10s so that is a fair comparison.

^Looks like Valento.

The "frumroll" and "frumdig" thing is even stupider than FTW/FTL thing IMO.

I just thought it was funny coming from an AWD guy. I am used to hearing that from turbo FWD cars or high HP v8 cars that cant hook.
