Clutch adjustment question

I adjusted my clutch. I wanted the engagement point to be further away from the ground. I moved the rod out all the way and the engagement point is still close to the floor. Does this mean my clutch is bad? The clutch fluid is full. Maybe I need to bleed the clutch fluid?

Or, is it possible that I turned the rod the wrong way? I read a thread that said turn the rod towards the firewall (out) and your engagement point will come up.

i would suggest to turn it the other way and see for yourself first, and if not you should probably bleed it.

Facing the front of the vehicle. Rotating the rod clockwise, will bring the engagement further from the ground. Counter clock wise, will be closer.

If it doesn't help, bleed the system. If that doesn't help either, perhaps replace master/slave cylinders.
