1990 oil filter housing plug

There are two hex plugs in the oil filter housing that look to have been threaded in with some type of sealant or thread locker. The one I need to take out so I can hook up the turbo oil feed line will not budge. The socket has slipped twice so I don't want to try anymore for fear of stripping it. It's already bolted to the engine so I'm also afraid of taking a Bernz torch or anything to it for fear of damaging the aluminum or the gasket. I'm going to soak it with PB Blaster tonight, but any other ideas would be appreciated.

What do you mean? I had a 15mm hex driver in there and it slipped, 16mm is too big. The standard equivelant is either too big or too small.

Oh the hex slipped I though you ment the ratchet slipped. Those things are in there pretty good I think your on the right track with the Pb blaster. You could probly get away with thre heat but be very carfull.

You don't understand... The plug is in the hole, flush with the surface of the oil filter housing.
