well i just got back from Wayzeta Mitsu to get my rental (lancer OZ Rally again) and asked about my car, looks like there gonna be giving me a new shortblock. Hell soon they will just be replacing the whole damn car. This warrenty is finally paying off.
Paid $2200 for the warrenty.
New T25 and install and gaskets charged the warrenty $2700 and me only $300
New Shortblock and install most likely gonna charge warrenty $5000 and me another $300
so i think i got my moneys worth.
LOL
Tom

Damn dude, you're really raking them for every dime!!

and the good part is that its all happening before the warrenty goes out, my car has 88K miles on it and the warrenty expires at 94K

see if you can keep the old one! it would make a cool table.

Also I would have thought that it would have been the head not the block that went cause of timeing belt problems.

CRANKWALK!!!!!!!! lol

Not a bad deal man :)

Warranties are nice. I sell a full meal deal warranty like that with lower mileage cars I sell for about $1700. Good to 100k and the deductible is $100. Well worth it for most cars.

eh too much hassel for the table.

It wasnt timing belt issues, i blew the main bearing on the crank, so it is believed to be crankwalk, by the way the service writer described it. So from what ive heard in just about the only Automatic to crankwalk. :censored: :fworld: :headache:

Not the first or the last I'm sure.

It probably wasn't actually crank walk. It is probably a spun rod or main bearing. I would go there and check out he bearings when they pull the engine, just for curiosities sake.
