Progress on my car
 

Yes, I'm actually getting somewhere on it. Have to get the cam seals in, cam gears torqued, timing belt, water pipe, manifolds and whatever else there is to do, then it'll be ready to drop in.

I made a project thread on MNSC with pictures and whatnot of my progress. If anyone isn't a member there and wants to see just let me know and I'll post the pictures here.

So, how long have you had it and how long has it not worked? And don't answer this if you don't want to, but why is it taking so long?

For these pictures I just put the cam gears on hand tightened and set the valve cover on.

Seeing that valve cover brings back memories of when my engine was being built.

It's good to see my old block going to good use. Originally that block came out of a car Dan Moore had if I remember right.

Took my time getting the timing belt on tonight before heading to Applebee's. (That's why I was a little late.) :) Hopefully the damn thing holds together. Spun it over a few times and nothing fell apart, so I guess it's good to go.
