Expert on glassware?

Anybody have any idea where I might be able to buy a replacement glass like this?

I broke one while house sitting, and I'd like to be able to replace it. Otherwise if I can't, I'll just leave some money and a note, but I feel terrible about it. :(

I've searched Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma, Marshall Field's/Macy's, Pottery Barn, Ikea, Nordstroms with no luck. Typically the items in this house are not cheap, so Target is not the likely source either.... Let me know if anyone has any other stores/websites you can think of that carries glassware.

Odd shaped glasswear like that is nearly impossible to replace. You could search for glass blowers and see if there is anyone out there that reproduces such items.

I would say to start searching Ebay, but it won't be easy to muddle through all the choices.

Pier 1 may be a possibility too.

Could you e-mail me a couple high resolution images of it? I'll ask my mother and grandmother if they have any ideas as in our family, we have enough glassware for 10 households.

It looks more like a desert dish than anything to me. Jana feels so bad about this, that its going to effect her being able to relax while finishing up the house sitting.

Don't worry about it too much. Look for a replacement, but honstly it's freeking glass, it's bound to break! If they have expensive stuff all over the house, I doubt they'll freak over a silly glass. I know I wouldn't.

I would never lie about. I think that makes it worse. Yes, they have two cats, but both are very calm and not that playful.
